EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

As an educational leader, students’ academic success and overall well-being is at the center of everything I do and relationship building with all stakeholders is vitally important. As an administrator, I work with all stakeholders to develop, advocate and enact a shared mission, vision, and core values of a high-quality education. I conduct myself ethically and according to professional norms. I strive for equity of educational opportunities and culturally responsive practices to support and enrich all students. I develop and support intellectually rigorous and coherent systems of curriculum, instruction and assessment. I cultivate an inclusive, caring, and supportive school climate that contributes to the overall well-being of all students. I strive to develop the professional capacity and practice of school staff and foster a professional community. I engage families and all community stakeholders in meaningful, reciprocal, and mutually beneficial ways. I efficiently manage school operations and resources. I am an agent of continuous improvement.
